ULTRASCAN partial discharge monitoring system~

The ULTRASCAN partial discharge and corona monitoring system is a instrument specifically developed to detect early faults in air-insulated switchboards and MV & HV electric plant.
It was developed in conjunction with maintenance engineers and plant management to assist in the correct identification of faults in order to prevent power drop-outs and catastrophic failures.

A major feature of these instruments is that they are designed for partial discharge location in order to address the specific problem areas and improve maintenance efficiency - they are not analytical devices requiring high levels of training or data analysis.

ULTRASCAN - Portable~A portable unit for short term investigations of MV/HV switchboards. The unit automatically scans up to 32 probes for a preset period of 48 hours maximum.

Probes have magnetic bases and gooseneck stands for rapid deployment. Any PD activity is immediately registered on the screen and all readings are logged for later analysis if required.

The instrument is easy and quick to install and is supplied in a portable case.

ULTRASCAN - Fixed~For permanent switchboard monitoring and continuous scanning of switchgear, ULTRASCAN provides immediate alarming and system health reporting.

Probes can be panel mounted using a MV/HV screen collar, and the system is fully user configurable.

The system has extensive automatic self checking processes, including probe damage detection and false alarm rejection. Additional system health checks can be initiated by the user at any stage.

ULTRASCAN - Spares and accessories~A full range of ULTRASCAN expansion components and spare parts is available. This included parts that will allow the system to be expanded up to 32 measurement points.

There are no software upgrades required as the system is completely self-learning and flexible.

Most standard spares are held in stock for immediate support.
